Kevin grew up in rural Southern Illinois and is the eldest of four boys. Prior to moving to Chicago in 1989, he had obtained an undergraduate degree in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Illinois in 1983 and later completed the MBA program at the University of Chicago in 1991. Kevin is a partner with his wife, Maureen, in both Clinical Assist, Ltd. and Black Bear AcademyŽ. Wearing many hats, he serves primarily as the CFO and Benefits Administrator for both companies. Kevin actively contributes to the financial planning and forecasting required to continue the development and growth of the Black Bear program. He consults regularly on issues related to future company goals, investments, computer/software issues and in general provides a seasoned approach and perspective from a financial viewpoint.
