Nicole Ruschmeyer is the Clinical Program Director of Black Bear Academy.As a Speech-Language Pathologist, Nicole has worked with both adult and pediatric populations in acute care, day rehabilitation clinics, inpatient and outpatient rehabilitation facilities, a therapeutic day school for children with autism, and various skilled nursing facilities.Nicole completed her undergraduate degree in Speech and Hearing Science at the University of Illinois in Urbana-Champaign and earned her Master’s Degree from Northern Illinois University in May of 2004.After having worked for Clinical Assist during her Clinical Fellowship Year, Nicole joined Black Bear in November of 2005.Nicole’s role at Black Bear includes training staff members, assisting with daily administrative functions, participating in program development, and serving Black Bear families, as well as evaluating and treating children with impairments in speech and language development.Nicole is thrilled to be a part of such a wonderful program and looks forward to an exciting 2008-2009 school year!
